Palmetto Youth Center was founded in 1998 by Karen H Palmer. Our purpose is to provide a positive, safe atmosphere and a variety of resources and programs to assist the children and youth of South Carolina in discovering, developing, and utilizing their gifts and talents while providing encouragement and interaction with their peers. 

We colaborate with other organizations to provide the children in South Carolina more programs than we could alone. Our partnerships allow us to work with more children, provide convenience for parents in locations, as well as providing opportunities to combine resources and lower costs.
