The purpose of Palmetto Youth Center is to provide a positive, safe atmosphere and a variety of resources and programs to assist the children and youth of South Carolina in discovering, developing, and utilizing their gifts and talents while providing encouragement and interaction with their peers.
The mission of Palmetto Youth Center is:
- Discovery of gifts and talents
- Encouragement of personal growth
- Emphasis on development of gifts and talents
- Promotion of utilization of gifts and talents
We are dedicated to assisting children and youth in recognizing that everyone has innate gifts from God that need to be discovered, encouraged, developed, and shared.
By collaborating with local businesses, organizations, churches, recreation and community centers, parks, and individuals, we are able to provide programs, encouragement, events, and opportunities.

Our goal is to assist all children and youth in discovering, developing, and utilizing their gifts and talents. This goal takes all of us full circle. What we discover and develop within ourselves can then be shared with others.
